One of the perks that many credit cards now offer is an “automatic privileges” program.  These can include things such as the ability to get a free upgrade in a hotel, an upgrade to a better seat in a concert or going up a class on a flight.  Sometimes these are advertises and “privileges program” or “instant rewards”.

The Coles Group Source Gold MasterCard is a credit card that is supplied by the Coles Group, a petrol retailer that is active throughout Australia.  Although it is branded with the Cole Group brand and it is eligible for a number of discounts at Cole Group stores, it is operated by GE Money, which operates a large number of similar cards on behalf of retailers.  The card processor is MasterCard, which is one of the largest card processors in the world. Platinum credit cards

Platinum credit cards are prestige credit cards that are marketed as being “beyond gold”. They are offered by most credit card processors with MasterCard, VISA and American Express all having cards.  Only a minority of credit card issuers such as banks and credit unions will provide these cards.
