ANZ Visa credit cards

ANZ provides quite a cross section of cards that are Visa based.  The rates and features mentioned were correct as at the time this article was written. Make sure you check current rates by visiting Australia’s leading credit card site.

Here are some of the details:-
ANZ Balance Visa card – This card has a unique feature in that it actually encourages customers to reduce their balance each month.  It is the only credit card in Australia to offer this feature.  Every time you pay $1 towards your balance you will earn 1 reward point.  Also there is a 0% interest rate on balance transfer for the first six months.  On purchases the interest rate is 12.99% per annum.  Reward points entitle the cardholder to a choice of cash back, shopping vouchers or gift cards.

ANZ Gold card – This card has a credit limit of up to $25 000.  The insurance package that comes with it is wide-ranging – 90 days cover on any purchases you make, meaning that you can have peace of mind if your goods are stolen, lost or damaged within that first three month period.  This card offers up to 9 additional cardholders free of charge – more than enough for most customers.

ANZ Visa reward – As its name suggests, the emphasis with this card is on the rewards that are available with every purchase you make.  There is a choice of 500 different rewards, depending on how you’d like to spend them.  It may be cash back, shopping vouchers or gift cards – the choice is yours.  On top of that, there is an added bonus of discounts on many entertainment venues across Australia.

ANZ Visa Reward Gold – Very similar to the Visa Reward card, but more prestigious.  It is possible to spend up to $50 000 per card account and the bonus reward points are unlimited.  ANZ also has its own security monitoring system to ensure that you’re purchases online are with reputable dealers.  The Visa entertainment deal that comes with this card gives access to many special offers exclusive to Visa cardholders.
